Soft Tissue & Orthopedic Surgery

Routine and advanced surgical procedures are performed at the hospital and pets are typically admitted the morning of surgery.  Depending on the procedure, your pet may or may not need to be hospitalized postoperatively.  Do not feed your pet the morning of surgery, but water can be allowed until the animal is admitted.  From spays and neuters to orthopedic surgeries, our doctors perform a vast array of procedures.  For some advanced surgeries, patients are referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.  Directions can be found here.
