Kari has been employed at SCAH since January 2012 as a licensed veterinary technician. An avid animal lover since childhood, she attended college in Kentucky where she obtained a B.S. in Agriculture & Natural Resources, as well as an A.A.S in Veterinary Technnology before returning home in 2007. She worked at a mixed practice for four years before joining the staff at SCAH. She provides nursing care to inpatients, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical assistance. She also strives to make each visit to SCAH a positive experience for the animals. She has three fur-babies, one mixed breed dog named Sugar Baby, as well as two cats, Toby and Oppossum, all of which are rescues.
